  • If you are absent on the day your current event is due, you still need to turn in the written portion on the day that it is due.

  • If you create a Powerpoint presentation for the oral part of the project, that does NOT count as the written portion of the project.

  • Your current event must be within 60 days of the due date of your presentation

Meet the Teacher- Ms. Larsen

Hello, my name is Tara Larsen. I am very pleased to teach science 8 at JM. I previously taught middle school for 15 years in the Pleasant Ridge School District located in Grass Valley, California. I taught sixth-grade multiple subjects and 7/8 grade science. I took a break from teaching to earn a second Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and to be a stay at home mother. In my spare time, I love to bake, scrapbook, hike, ski, climb, raft and backpack.  I love anything to do with science and the outdoors. I missed teaching and I am excited to get to know the community at JM.
